Getaway to Oslo

Hi guys, sorry I have been MIA! But I am back :)

Last week I went to Oslo, Norway for a few days. It's a beautiful city full of life and culture. The first thing we did when we got there was explore the neighbourhood we were staying in. We stayed close to Oslo Central so everything was a stones throw away.

As soon as we left our AirBnB apartment, we came across the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design. Inside the museum we came across work from Andy Warhol, Picasso and managed to see the infamous 'Scream' by Edvard Munch.

The next day we decided to go on a boat trip to see the Fjords of Oslo. Had the weather been good, the boat ride would have been a lot nicer however with cold winds constantly coming your way, it wasn't the most pleasant journey. However I still recommend the boat ride as you get to see wonderful views of Oslo.

Another must do if you are going to Oslo is visit the Oslo Opera House. You can walk to the top and see some amazing views.

The final thing we did in Oslo was visit the Royal Palace. The Palace itself if beautiful but the surroundings are equally amazing with its scenic parks and lakes. Unfortunately we didn't have time for the guided tour but it's something I'll definitely do if I go back to Oslo.

All in all, my trip was very enjoyable. The city as expected was super expensive but the warm people and great culture make the trip worth it.
